Job Description

We are seeking a
Commercial Quantity Surveyor (QS)
to join our team in Bahrain. The role involves managing the
commercial, technical, and material aspects
of stone projects, from pricing and tendering to contract management and project coordination. The ideal candidate will bridge communication between clients, sales, design, and production teams to ensure accurate cost control and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare
    BOQs
    and
    cost estimates
    based on project drawings and specifications.
  • Manage
    AutoCAD drawings
    for take-offs, measurement verification, and material planning.
  • Obtain and verify
    technical specifications
    and ensure material compliance with client requirements.
  • Coordinate with the
    sales and production teams
    to align commercial and technical details.
  • Communicate directly with
    clients, consultants, and contractors
    to provide
    commercial and technical support
    .
  • Prepare and issue
    quotations, pricing proposals, and contracts
    .
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and ensure profitability.
  • Assist in procurement and
    material management
    for ongoing projects.
  • Maintain organized records of drawings, correspondence, and cost documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in
    Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
    .
  • Minimum 3
    years of experience
    in
    construction, fit-out, or stone/marble industry
    .
  • Strong skills in
    AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost estimation tools
    .
  • Excellent
    numerical accuracy
    and
    attention to detail
    .
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in
    English
    ;
    Arabic
    is an advantage.
