Job purpose: To underwrite and process personal line products within company guidelines for customers with a high level of customer service and sales. Key Responsibilities: Answer all calls in a consistent and professional manner as per desired level of customer service. Provide customers with accurate information as per the company guidelines of all products. Adhere to the level of productivity prescribed by the manager. Feedback and improvement will be implemented where necessary. Apply a high level of quality standards to ensure correct information is obtained from the customer for quotations, changes in policies, and renewals. Promote the company's products at all times. Identify and refer all risks outside personal authority limit to the relevant manager. Maintain and develop relationships with key partners where necessary. Achieve campaign results set out by the manager. Meet audit standards based on guidelines provided by management. Adhere to shift patterns as instructed by the manager. Support colleagues within the team and other areas of the personal lines department to alleviate short-term resource issues and ensure smooth service to customers. Perform any other related duties as required to support the operation. Achieve daily sales targets for inbound and outbound calls. Follow up with all prospective customers, old and new. Operational & Technical Responsibilities: Underwrite (rate, accept, decline, and issue new policies and renewals) for all personal lines products within delegated authority limit and in accordance with the criteria laid down in approved underwriting manuals and management instruction. Achieve sales results and KPIs for inbound and outbound calls set up by the manager. Essential Requirements: Prior telephone sales experience (inbound and outbound) as a top performer (average of 100 calls/day) for at least 1 year. Secondary education preferred.
