Main Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and train a team of junior pastry chefs, bakers, and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and creative working environment. Oversee the daily operations of the pastry section, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and according to schedule. Ensure that high standards of hygiene and food safety are maintained in compliance with local health regulations. Quality Control & Consistency: Ensure the highest quality and consistency in all pastry products, maintaining exceptional attention to detail in both flavor and presentation. Regularly review production methods to enhance efficiency without compromising quality. Conduct regular tasting sessions and adjust recipes as needed. Inventory & Cost Management: Manage inventory levels for all pastry ingredients and supplies, ensuring availability while controlling waste. Creativity and innovation in dessert presentation and flavor profiles. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards. Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Personality Pleasant personality and ability to lead with empathy. Strong organizational and planning abilities. Passion for mentoring and developing talent within the team.
