Maintenance Coordinator

We are currently looking for a trainee to join our Maintenance Team at Arla Foods Bahrain for a period of 3 months. In this role you will report to Mechanical Team Lead.

**About the role**

The Maintenance Coordinator role is responsible to support maintenance and utility operations to ensure compliance of forward-looking maintenance schedule between operations & maintenance. Proactively ensure all non-urgent maintenance is prepared into work packs and to optimize the technician wrench time.

**Principal duties and responsibilities**:

- Coordinate between Maintenance, Planning and Production to schedule and implementation of 6-weeks look-ahead maintenance schedule
- Facilitate handshake meeting with operations to agree next week’s maintenance schedule
- Prepare planned maintenance work packages incl. labor, spare parts, special tools, work permits, check list, man hour estimates.
- Analyze backlog & execution of maintenance schedule
- Develop standard work instructions/procedures in Maintenance in line of Arla Standards
- Execute maintenance strategy required actions
- Create / change SAP PM master data
- Perform role of site SAP PM super/Key user
- Responsible for site SAP PM competence and up-skilling
- Support coordination of improvement projects in Maintenance & Utilities
- Support optimization of spare part inventory
- Support M&E financial processes MRO Coordinator (Maintenance, Repair & Operations)
- Facilitate schedule compliance review meetings
- Coordinate repairs of spare parts

**Who are you**

To be successful in this role we believe you have:

- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Maintenance in Manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of SAP PM Module
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Good negotiation & interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Team player with good network building skills
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Cost conscious and global mindset
