Operational Support Officer

This role focuses on ensuring the effective management of operational risks and enhancing service standards.

  • Support the timely and accurate delivery of all requested projects and initiatives within specified requirements
  • Carry out demanding clerical, data input, reconciliation, data administration, and monitoring services to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently in adherence to business processes, procedures, standards, and external regulations
  • Ensure team performance adheres to specified business processes, procedures, standards, and relevant external requirements
  • Identify and suggest improvements to new and existing processes/procedures/systems
  • Maintain awareness of market conditions, business products, and services to ensure best practice adoption where required
  • Participate in evaluation and implementation of new or upgraded systems, including robust user testing according to business standards
  • Provide backup cover for colleagues absent due to sickness, training, annual leave etc
  • Provide business support during weekends, bank holidays, and other times when the business would usually be closed but markets are open elsewhere
  • Recommend and implement changes to improve service quality and process efficiency
  • Undertake duties at a similar or higher level as required
