University Student Outreach Coordinator

Gulf University is seeking a highly skilled and motivated University Student Outreach Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to play a key role in developing and implementing effective outreach programs to attract top talent from around the world.
About the Role
The University Student Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and delivering outreach programs and marketing strategies, including community workshops, retreats, and related recruitment efforts. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute to and develop integrated marketing campaigns to promote the university's services or ideas. They will also be able to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports, as well as prepare and deliver presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate outreach programs and marketing strategies to promote the university's services or ideas.
- Arrange visits and tours for prospective students and parents.
- Develop and maintain partnerships between the university, local schools, alumni networks, community partners, and other identified groups throughout the assigned territory/population.
- Develop and maintain a database of potential candidates.
- Coordinate university participation in local, regional, and international recruitment fairs, conferences, and related outreach events.
- Participate in and/or organize all aspects of general, college, and program-oriented events utilizing presentation and promotional materials.
- Visit middle schools, high schools, and colleges; speak to groups and individual students; meet with school counselors, administrators, and/or other constituent groups to promote outreach activities.
- Conduct market research to collect information on what is available in the higher education sector.
- Respond to students' and candidates' inquiries.
- Act as the focal person for internal coordination of student recruitment and financial aid and/or scholarship information and deadlines.
- Prepare reports and proposals regarding recruitment and outreach activities and respond to inquiries from students and minority agencies.
- Create, package, monitor, and distribute resource materials for student recruitment and retention programs.
- Analyze trends in recruitment and retention programs.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree or master's degree in marketing or a related field, completed from an accredited institution. You will also need at least 2 years of experience in any marketing field with 1 year of experience in digital marketing. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues, negotiation skills, and multi-tasking abilities. Additionally, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute to and develop integrated marketing campaigns to promote the university's services or ideas.
