The Role

We're seeking an HR & Admin Officer who will play a key role in keeping our growing organization running smoothly. This hybrid role combines elements of HR support, office management, and executive assistance — ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, and takes pride in getting things done efficiently.

You will support multiple teams across HR operations, recruitment, and general administration — while also assisting leadership with scheduling, documentation, and coordination. As one of the early members of our operations team, you'll help shape the internal culture, systems, and routines that define how Tanami runs day-to-day.

What You'll Do

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and prepare meeting agendas or minutes for senior management.
  • Act as the point of contact for office administration: supplies, maintenance, vendor coordination, and general office upkeep.
  • Support HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, maintaining employee records, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Help organize company events and team activities that foster engagement and collaboration.
  • Assist with internal communications, ensuring policies and announcements are effectively shared.
  • Liaise with finance to support invoice processing, expense tracking, and procurement.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, English, Human Resources, or any related field, we are open to any educational background.
  • 1–2 years of experience in HR, administration, or office management roles — ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A self-starter who enjoys multitasking and thrives in an environment where no two days are the same.
  • Discreet, professional, and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
