Job Description – Certified Accountant (CPA / CA) – Bahraini NationalJob Summary:

Responsible for managing and developing the company's accounting system, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and complying with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as well as tax regulations and local laws in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The role includes preparing detailed financial analyses and reports to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare journal entries, review accounting records, and ensure compliance with internal policies.

  2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

  3. Manage internal and external audit processes and coordinate with auditing firms.

  4. Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws in Bahrain.

  5. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and reduce costs.

  6. Monitor cash flows and prepare liquidity management reports.

  7. Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring accurate reconciliation.

  8. Design and implement effective internal financial controls.

  9. Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans.

  10. Provide financial support and advice to senior management in decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· Professional certification CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant).

· Bahraini national.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or auditing, preferably within Bahrain.

· Strong knowledge of IFRS and local financial regulations.

· Proficiency in accounting software (such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office.

· Strong analytical skills and high accuracy with numerical data.

· Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
