AUBH seeks an energetic, creative, hard-working, and collaborative individual to serve as a Facilities and Commercial Services Assistant Manager. The primary role of this position is to:

- Manage the campus improvement projects, from the design phase to the handover.
- Manage the campus space utilization and make sure it is efficiently occupied.
- Support the director of facilities in overseeing the campus commercial services such as the canteen, café, campus shop, and vending machines.

**Duties and Responsibilities include**:

- Develop facilities improvement and modification project plans based on stakeholders’ needs.
- Prepare projects’ scope of work and contribute to the technical input in the RFPs.
- Plan and supervise projects’ activities and deliver upon the agreed time and quality.
- control campus engineering drawings and maintain an updated version of as-built drawings.
- Ensure that the necessary health, safety, and environment official requirement are met for campus facilities.
- Develop and maintain a facility utilization master plan.
- Assist the department in office allocation.
- Measure office space utilization.
- Plan future office space requirements.
- Keep a registry of office space assets.
- Assess the current utilization of academic classrooms and labs.
- Assess the future requirement of academic classrooms and labs.
- Study and continually suggest improvements to maximize the offices and academic facilities utilization.
- Oversee and improve facilities booking system.
- Monitor the commercial services quality and continual improvement of the services process.
- Manage the commercial services vendors’ and suppliers’ contracts and relations.
- Receive and evaluate stakeholders’ comments, suggestions, and complaints and prepare an improvement plan.
- Capture and evaluate the new campus commercial opportunities.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications and Experience required**:

- Engineering bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Architecture.
- At least three years of full-time professional experience, preferably in facilities management, construction, or engineering firms.
- One year of experience or strong knowledge in commercial services or business.

**Skills and Competencies required**:

- Ability to proactively work collaboratively with various vendors and suppliers.
- Ability to work independently with minimum direction and adherence to deadlines while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to the highest standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and handling of confidential information
- Basic knowledge of business retails and F&B operations.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to use engineering drawing software such as AutoCAD.
- Knowledge and experience of various software, specifically Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
