Insurance Underwriter and Sales Professional

GIG Gulf offers a wide range of personal line products to its customers, ensuring their needs are met with high-quality services. As an underwriter and sales professional, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while promoting our company's products at all times.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Answer calls in a consistent and professional manner, adhering to desired customer service levels.
* Provide accurate information to customers about our products, as per company guidelines.
* Ensure adherence to productivity levels prescribed by your manager and implement feedback and improvement where necessary.
* Maintain a high level of quality standards to ensure correct information is obtained from customers for quotations, policy changes, and renewals.
* Identify and refer risks outside your authority limit to relevant managers.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key partners when necessary.
* Achieve campaign results set out by your manager.
* Meet audit standards based on guidelines provided by management.
* Adhere to shift patterns instructed by your manager.
* Support colleagues within the team and other areas of the personal lines department to alleviate short-term resource issues and ensure smooth customer service.
Operational & Technical Responsibilities
* Underwrite (rate, accept, decline, and issue new policies and renewals) for all personal lines products within delegated authority limits and in accordance with approved underwriting manuals and management instructions.
* Achieve sales results and KPIs for inbound and outbound calls set up by your manager.
Requirements
* Prior telephone sales experience (inbound and outbound) with a top performer track record (average of 100 calls/day) for at least 1 year.
* Secondary education preferred.
