About the Role

The Director of Sales oversees and motivates departmental activities and team members to ensure all sales personnel meet their quotas, focus on individual accounts and group bookings, and coordinate with transient demand to maximize revenue per available room.

This position has overall responsibility for achieving revenue goals, KPIs, guest satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and financial performance of the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, retain, and develop diverse, high-caliber talent that makes a strong positive impact on the organization and creates a work environment that embraces the brand's culture.
  • Develop and implement strategies to exceed financial results and drive market share, customer satisfaction, employee loyalty, owner loyalty, and brand strength.
  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to effectively manage all sales channels and segmentation.
  • Ensure the development of strategic account plans for demand generators in the market.
  • Deploy sales teams against appropriate market segments and constantly monitor performance.
  • Assist in developing the annual marketing plan, ensure projects are executed for all market areas as stated in the hotel marketing plan with emphasis on increasing sales and profitability.
  • Proactively position and market the property to remain a market leader and strengthen the Four Seasons brand image.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar leadership role in a luxury hospitality brand.
  • Knowledge of the GCC market.
  • English is a must, Arabic is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the luxury hospitality sector.
