Sales Manager Job Responsibilities:
A sales manager is in charge of maximizing sales of the company. He/she sets realistic expectations and pushes through on these expectations with determination and drive to make company revenues grow as much as possible. They are responsible for the operations of a company’s sales force, development and implementation of annual sales, monitoring performance of teams and sales & Marketing goals, and meeting with other company managers to ensure that business objectives are executed properly and right on schedule Marketing and Sales Manager Job Duties:

Overseeing and coordinating all activities and operations of the Sales & Marketing department:
- coordinating the activities of a sales team in order to build a healthy and profitable relation with buyers and other associates;
- assigning members of the team to the company’s accounts;
- devising new and original strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets;
- setting weekly, quarterly, monthly, and annual sales targets for the Sales Executives and other Sales Representatives, making sure these targets are realistic and achievable;
- defining and implementing sales policies and procedures;
- approving all sales plans and budgets.
- Conducts daily sales calls and arrange familiarization/site inspection trips to resort and other properties by corporate clients.
- Participates in weekly sales meetings.
- Organize weekly sales and marketing meetings with Reef Hospitality, Apartments, Villas sector to communicate and unify efforts seeking for the best market exposure.
- Organize FAM trips and local community sight visits to create costumer’s awareness on the Reef hospitality sector and related activities.
- Organize and update database from our properties to follow a trustworthy targeted SMS and mail campaigns in the coming future.
- Meets and exceeds individual revenue goals. Effectively manages customers budget to maximize revenue and meet customer needs and identify opportunities to up-sell products and services throughout the sales process.
- Researching and identifying sales opportunities, generating leads, and targeting potential clients:
- Looking for and establishing contact with prospective customers and clients for their company; and
- acting as a company representative in trade shows and other related events.
- Developing, maintaining, and improving relationships with key accounts to maintain a high level of service and client loyalty.
- Meeting with other company Managers to ensure that business objectives are being properly executed and are on schedule.
- Liaising with the Marketing department in order to create a more thorough and effective sales campaign and strategy:
- Putting together a team to develop a marketing plan that would benefit both the client and the company.
- Establishing a Sales and marketing calendar in coordination with to promote weekly, monthly and yearly activities ahead of time.
- Executing ongoing market surveys to create awareness among the team and drive for revenue competition set.
- carrying out brand promotion.
- Establishing MICE sales based on Reef hospitality sector spaces, facilities and services assuring maximum performance and market share.
- Establishing solid relationships with corporate and government sectors securing tangible market share all year round.
- Manage loyalty programs and memberships for Reef hospitality sector and assure cross selling execution during team sales calls
- Overseeing the training processes of new staff members:
- Monitoring the performance of teams and sales goals;
- Establish a KPO’s set [Key Performance Objectives] for every team member tracking their performance.
- Following ongoing performance assessments by establishing PDP [Personal Development Plan] for sales colleagues.
- Creating a track able incentive schemes for each sales colleague based on targeted figures forecasting in each segment.
- reading and evaluating the staff’s sales reports; and
- ensuring that each team member meets individual goals, as well as the overall sales goal of the company.
- Keeping up-to-date on current market changes and trends to be able to come up with new and original sales strategies:
- Staying updated in the latest trends in sales by regularly reading specialized literature and attending workshops and seminars;
- Conduct weekly competitor surveys and recommend strategies based on market intelligence.
- Reviews corporate account and recommends actions in terms of rates, production, contract renewals.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to maximize Reef hospitality sector profit margin in all revenue producing areas.
