Position Purpose

To support the Head of Sales and execute all necessary pro-active and re-active sales, e-commerce, marketing & PR activities to exceed owner expectations concerning revenue generation and market share.

Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Execute duties as assigned by the Head of Sales or General Manager.
- Support the Head of Sales in analysing competitor activities and pricing strategies, trends of business by market segment, channel and GOB, and performance of existing customers
- Execute detailed action plans to support the revenue generation in all segments and departments and beat the competition.
- Show and use the passion for the HGI brand in all sales conversations and negotiations
- Actively manage allocated accounts (all segments, including GCE)
- Explore and invest time on developing innovative approaches to generate revenue and extend customer basis.
- Help ensuring that all rates are loaded correctly in systems / channels
- Execute the hotel’s marketing plan on request of Head of Sales or General Manager
- Help ensuring that the hotel is well positioned and marketed on internet and other distribution channels, liaising closely with eCommerce
- Be a positive and very active contributor in meetings (e.g. Huddles) and other forms of communications with the sales team to help achieve / maintain a high level of trust & engagement
- Be actively engaged in the on-boarding of new Sales Team Members and share Sales Expert knowledge and tips and tricks.
- Offer and conduct regular sales training for Sales TMs and TMs from other departments to help drive revenue generation in the hotel.
- Pro-actively seek opportunities to give a helping hand to the operations team through times of stress to help driving a very high level of cross-departmental collaboration.
- Volunteer to participate in company campaigns such as Travel with Purpose
- Be a role model for others in regards to Hilton Garden Inn brand behaviours
