A Bahrain-based prominent HVAC company is looking for a Head of Trading.

**Department**:
Trading.

**Role Purpose**:
To maintain and develop the profitable growth of the Sales business within a defined geographical area, in accordance with agreed budgets and plans.

**Responsibilities**:

- To be responsible for managing a Sales Team to achieve company targets.
- To maintain close contact with the business market, liaising closely with existing customers and promoting the new business using all available marketing material/sales engineering resources.
- To be responsible for the cost-effective identification and utilization of human and material resources in order to support current and forecast levels of business.
- To evaluate individual’s performance and be responsible for identifying necessary training of subordinates in accordance with company policy.
- To properly exercise management control over working capital in respect of debtors and inventory, to maximize turnover with minimum overhead costs.
- To accurately evaluate Sales performance, to report on this performance monthly and to accurately forecast short-term future business.
- To identify, evaluate and manage potential risks to the sales business.
- Develop and expand existing and new national accounts within a defined territory.
- Provide input such as, relevant market information, sales and marketing strategies, vision and goals.
- Drive new sales opportunities with new and existing customers while positioning the company for success.
- Personally contact and secure new business accounts, typically through consultant lock and speciation work.
- To manage all aspects of assigned accounts within their portfolio, including but not limited to: opportunity identification; pre-sales planning; deal execution; post sales installation planning and follow up; customer issue resolution relating to invoicing, service and other issues in order to ensure a high level of post-sales satisfaction and facilitate long term relationships with strong potential for repeat business.
- Maintain and grow customer base. This person will own and deliver annual revenue, market share and profitability targets.

**Education/Experience Requirements**:

- Must be qualified to Mechanical Engineering level with appropriate experience in HVAC Applied (AHU, FCU & Chillers) and Unitary (DX, VRF) Products and Solutions.
- Minimum ten years’ supervisory management experience of a HVAC Sales Team.
- Must have significant experience of air conditioning and BMS controls with which the company involves itself.
- Must have experience within the GCC region.
- Must have experience managing a direct sales team.
- Must have experience with Unitary distributors and dealer development.
