Administrative Officer

**Duties**:
- Develop statistical reports to brief management on budget program status.
- Develop plans and objectives to administer budget, procurement processes, or manpower.
- Review completed staff actions (letters, memos, reports, studies, factsheets, information papers) for quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Develop operational strategies for document and records management.
- Write budget justification statements to validate funding requests for an organization.
- Evaluate program regulations and procedures (e.g., physical security, space management, travel system, commercial purchase card) for regulation compliance.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

**Qualifications**:
**GS-13**: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following**:planning, managing and executing office budget and acquisitions; performing long-range planning in the areas of manpower, supplies, and equipment; managing investigative and administrative case files; and managing a government purchase card program.**
**GS-12**: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following**:managing and executing an office budget; managing facilities maintenance; making recommendations in manpower levels; and using government purchase card for the procurement of equipment and supplies.**
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
