Business Development Engineer

Coliseum Soft, a leading software solutions provider, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our company.
**Responsibilities**:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, target industries, and emerging market trends. Develop and implement strategies to expand Coliseum Soft's client base and revenue streams.
Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand their business needs, provide exceptional customer service, and act as a trusted advisor. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.
Sales and revenue generation: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements. Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
Partnership development: Identify strategic partnerships and alliances that align with Coliseum Soft's business objectives. Collaborate with partners to drive joint marketing and sales initiatives. Evaluate partnership opportunities and negotiate agreements to maximize mutual benefits.
Market intelligence and competitive analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Analyze market data and identify opportunities for product/service enhancement or new offerings. Provide insights to internal teams to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Team leadership and collaboration: Lead and motivate a team of business development professionals. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture. Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
**Requirements**:
Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in the software or technology industry.
Strong knowledge of software solutions and IT services, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to clients.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify market trends and opportunities.
Leadership and team management experience.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. An MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
