
Business Development Representative

We are licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain as an Account Servicing Payment Initiation Service Provider (PISP) and permitted by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority to test our services under the Regulatory Sandbox environment. Our goal is to unite forces and establish an interconnected, personalized, and accessible financial ecosystem.
About The Role
As we expand our commercial team, your role will be pivotal in supporting our ambitious growth plans. You will report to our Regional Commercial Director and work closely with our commercial team to drive our company's success. Your responsibilities will include identifying, prospecting, and generating new sales opportunities, fostering and developing relationships with potential customers, qualifying leads, and building a robust pipeline of sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to identify potential customers and target markets.
- Cold-call and email prospects to build and develop relationships and generate new business opportunities.
- Qualify all inbound marketing leads to identify if their needs and requirements match our product offerings.
- Develop a pipeline of potential sales opportunities and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly lead generation goals.
- Work closely with business development managers to develop effective sales strategies and ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads.
- Participate in sales meetings and sales strategy discussions to ensure all team members are aligned with best practices and goals.
- Communicate with leads and customers via phone, email, social media, and other communication channels.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
- Attend industry conferences and events as needed to identify potential leads and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Explain complex technical information to customers in a way that is easily understandable.
- Perform product demonstrations and training as needed.
- Construct pitches and sales presentations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or Information Systems (or a related field).
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including relationship-building and persuasive abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, with the ability to develop and maintain productive business relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (or similar software), including spreadsheets and databases.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations tailored to different audience needs.
- Effective relationship management skills, with a proactive approach to feedback and continuous improvement.
