Chief Operating Officer

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to all departments within the golf club, including golf operations, food and beverage, facilities management, finance, sales and marketing.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and enhance the overall member and guest experience.
- Collaborate with department heads to establish and achieve performance goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with the club's mission and values.
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and innovation, empowering staff to deliver exceptional service and exceed member expectations.
- Oversee budgeting and financial management activities, including revenue forecasting, expense control, and capital planning, to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.
- Drive membership growth and retention initiatives, working closely with the membership committee to develop and implement strategic plans and marketing campaigns.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including members, vendors, community partners, and regulatory agencies, to promote the club's interests and enhance its reputation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, conducting market research and benchmarking analyses to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining a safe, legal, and ethical operating environment for staff and members.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of senior management experience in the hospitality, leisure, or golf club industry, with a proven track record of success in leading and growing organizations.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
- Exceptional leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate staff at all levels to achieve common goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate trends, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Commitment to excellence, integrity, and professionalism, with a passion for delivering outstanding service and experiences to members and guests.
- Knowledge of golf club operations, industry trends, and regulatory requirements preferred.
- Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation or equivalent certification a plus.
