Pre-sales Engineer

The Senior Pre Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical and product expertise to support sales activities and customer engagements. This position requires excellent problem solving, communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
**Responsibilities**:
1 Analyze and understand customer's technical requirements.
2 Prepare high-quality and compelling technical & Financial proposals that address customer requirements and aligned with customer business goals and objectives.
3 Response to all RFIs, RFQs & RFPs
4 Design highly technical solutions for the entire integrated solution components. (MV, LV, etc)
5 Identify the potential supplier(s) list for the provided solution(s).
6 Prepare technical submittals for the running projects and ensure technical compliance with tender requirement.
7 Act as a consultant/advisor for the sales person, project manager and client in the complex technical issues and conducts presentations when required.
8 Review the technical components of the proposal before submission to the sales team for final compilation.

10 Prepare technical write-up and associated drawings that describe the solution and highlight the advantages of the proposed solution.
11 Study the available solutions of the competitors to be able to provide the optimum solution emphasizing our strong points.
12 Involve in customer meetings aimed at discussing the proposed solution and highlight advantages over competitors.
13 To produce proposals, technical documentation as required and to ensure other Team members and teams knowledge are up to date.
14 Conduct awareness sessions for the team and GS employees when needed.
15 Investigate/Analyze new technologies and stay on top of technology.
**Job Requirements**:
**Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science
- Master’s degree in business or related field (MBA preferred)
- Diploma/Degree/Certificate in IT/Telecommunication
**Experience**:
- Minimum 6-8 years’ experience working in Presales.
- Experience in Telecommunication / IT sector
**Skills**:
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Team player who is flexible and excels in a Corporate environment.
- Techno-Commercial mindset.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Dynamic, rigorous & self-directed personality.
- Exhibits self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
