**JOB PURPOSE**
- Ensure all activities are completed within timescales and with a high degree of accuracy.
- Provide excellent service to external & internal customers, adhering to all appropriate processes and procedures.
- Ensure no operational losses occur due to errors or lapse in controls and compliance, procedures, or standards.
- Ensure that operational reporting requirements are met.
- Identify and initiate improvements to work, customer service, quality, work processes and organizational matters in order to contribute to business efficiency goal.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Managing and providing a one-stop solution in the area of:
- Issuance and Advising of Export and Import LC’s and amendments;
- Issuing delivery order and shipping guarantees;
- Issuance of bank guarantees;
- Issuance of Counter guarantees
- Issuance of SBLC
- Correspondence with Correspondent Bank for issuance and/or advising of LCs and guarantees.
- Examination and securing of Documents (Import and Export);
- Ensure that transaction is handled and workable as per UCP, URDG, URR, URC and other ICC Publications as applicable;
- Correspondence with other banks (advising discrepancies, due date confirmation and other miscellaneous issues);
- Payment of reimbursement claims under LC;
- Reconciliation and Balancing of Bank accounts (Nostros and internal accounts)
- Book, repay and renew trade and non-trade loans;
- Reevaluation and reconciliation of commissions collected on a daily basis;
- Ensure of correctness of records on daily basis.
- Liaising with credit / corporate departments and with customers;
- Adherence to the international and local compliance standard required such as AML -FATCA and other US -EURO - UN sanctions.
- Training to new joiners on Trade finance products;
- Work for exploring the possibilities of automation in process.
**Skills**:
**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
1. Minimum 5/10 years of experience in trade and Bank relation and experience in Trade Finance at bank trade department.
2. BA in Business or Finance
3. Certificate in International Trade and Finance (CITF®) such as from The London Institute of Banking & Finance
4. Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS®) such as from The London Institute of Banking & Finance
