Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in identifying and closing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within target industries.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and potential markets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to generate leads and increase sales revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Proactively address client needs and concerns to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to increase revenue.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and develop their skills.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to improve their performance.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the building materials, agriculture, lifts and escalators, or industrial supplies industries is required.

A proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations is essential. Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and techniques, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are also required.
