Job Description:

Gulf Air Group seeks a highly skilled and experienced Sales Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving revenue growth through direct sales efforts and establishing strong relationships with government and commercial houses.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To identify and pursue new business opportunities and revenue streams through research and direct contact with private sectors and sales outlets of travel industries.
  • To promote and market Gulf Air's products and services through regular visits to travel agents, tour operators, schools, clubs, embassies, ethnic institutions, commercial and government houses.
  • To ensure timely and efficient provision of services and product information to the above institutions and the general traveling public.
  • To maintain strong relationships and regular contact with travel industries and their staff, keeping them informed of operational or price changes.
  • To develop and maximize new and existing business opportunities and revenue contribution with Travel Agents and Corporate accounts within portfolio.
  • To establish and maintain long-term working relations with Travel Agents and Corporate accounts.
  • To prepare and develop account development plans to achieve short, medium, and long-term business objectives.
  • To develop tactical Sales and Marketing activities to support sales opportunities in both Travel Agents and Corporate markets.
  • To provide all necessary assistance to travel agencies to enhance their revenue generation and achieve their sales targets.
  • To handle and investigate complaints, concerns, and problems faced by travel agencies and resolve issues promptly.
  • To monitor the market and competitor activity, providing feedback and recommendations to management for appropriate action.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in related sales and marketing functions.
  • Adequate background in major airline business processes, preferably in reservations, ticketing, and CRS systems.
  • The ability to think strategically and work cross-functionally in a complex business environment.
  • Creative, entrepreneurial mindset with effective time management skills.
  • Outstanding commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Travel industry and corporate business.
